NOW A MEMBER OF HALF DOZEN GROUP

I long time goal was achieved around 1 month ago when I became a member of the Half Dozen Group of Artists in Brisbane. Although I have known of this group for some time now, it was only when they moved to their new permanent home in Corinda that it became easy for me to be able to drive to their new address. It was a great delight and joy for me to become a member of this Group and to be able to do some portrait drawing which I have not done for many years and to view some wonderful drawings by other member artists also.

RAINFOREST SPLENDOUR

This painting was recently painted from a selection of photos from Mt. Tamborine, Qld. during a vacation several years ago. I feel this captures the feeling and beauty of the rainforest in that area.
